Recipes From My Upcoming 2nd Cookbook
Updated: 09-02-19

Well Hidey-Ho neighbors. This download, is the current progress for the Dips & Spreads section of my next cookbook (and free download). I will be updating this file with new pages, as soon as I complete new recipes. I am pushing towards having a minimum of 15 ultra low point and calorie Dips & Spreads. I know that a lot of recipes are floating around out there already for some of these, and in some cases, recipes from very famous and rich food bloggers and chefs. However... they aren't crazy smart point hacking, point slaying ninja assasins like I am. To drive home just how much more awesome my way of cooking is for hacking down calories (through smart ingredient swaps), this next book/download will include the nutritional macros for every single recipe, so that you can compare my numbers, next to the numbers of a regular recipe with the same serving size.

Alright, let's talk about the elephant in the room... dips. More specifically, the LACK of good dips out there that are low in points! Most dips that we all use, fall into 3 categories. (1) Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning packets mixed with Greek yogurt (2) Full fat and calorie NORMAL dips that we are told by WW to "just eat a small iddy biddy thimble size scoop, be mindful, and PRETEND that you're satisfied". (3) Recipes from Pinterest and food bloggers, that say they are low point... but that's only because the serving size is 1/2 a teaspoon. *eye roll*

My dips will never give you less than a 1/4 cup serving, which is still small for me. I will typically try to always keep my dips at 0 points for at least 1/2 cup. The only exception will be ones that it'd be impossible for, like Chimichurri dip, which usually has enough Oil to fuel a Big Rig truck. I'll do my best, because I know that if you're like me, you do NOT want to spend your points on a condiment.

The current dip recipes that are in this file are:

  • Artichoke Spinach
  • Black Bean Puree
  • Cheddar Cheese, Bacon and Beer
  • Chik Fil A copycat
  • Cocktail Sauce
  • Creamy Chimichurri
  • Guacamole
  • Hummus (Regular & Chocolate)
  • Ketchup
  • Roasted Red Pepper and Balsamic
  • Smoked Salmon
  • Sweet & Sour and Thai Sweet Chili
  • Tartar Sauce
  • Thai Peanut Dip

  • File Type: PDF
  • File Size: 25 megabytes
  • Pages: 12

  • If your computer is unable to open the file you will need to install a FREE copy of -- Adobe Acrobat -- or any other program capable of opening PDF files. It's also important to not that the Cooking Guide is a large file (over 100 megabytes) and as such I would not recommend downloading it to your mobile device unless you are on wifi or have a good data plan for your device, as well as having enough storage space. Once the Sauces section is added in a few weeks the file will be over 200 megabytes.
